Verdi Alliance upholds this commitment by providing an extensive safety training program that ensures all staff is trained to a level of hazard recognition that is above industry standard.
Led by Patricia Vilarinho-Randazzo, Verdi Alliance’s team of safety professionals assists workers and supervisors in the implementation of health and safety programs and procedures. This assistance includes on-site training for new employees, ongoing training courses for current employees, and weekly site audits. The culmination of these programs assists Verdi Alliance in working towards a zero incident workplace.
At a minimum, all Verdi Alliance staff is trained in WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) and fall protection training. In addition, all Verdi Alliance work sites include personnel trained in first aid and CPR. The culmination of these programs assists Verdi Alliance in working towards a zero tolerance, zero incident and zero lost time workplace.
